New Plants In The Garden

New plants have been put in the garden, I like the camellia bushes, there are many different colours planted all in a row, we have a lot of those in the new garden beds. We have many varieties of plants in the garden bed, members and visitors are welcome to come and look at the new plants and work in our community garden.

There are even native trees to planted in the bed, so come along and see all the new garden beds and plants. There are water features and a bird bath as well.

We will need to pay the Elermore Vale Community Centre back, for the funding for the plants. If it was not for their generous support and lending us the $1,200 for the plants, we would not have these beautiful new plants.

As you can see it is all coming along very well. The new plants are doing very well in the new soil at our community garden. New plants in the garden

So get busy and come on down to the Elermore Vale Men’s Shed, new members are welcome! We always appreciate donations for our garden!

Building wheel barrows is one thing we do.

Sometimes we like to build wheel barrows at the shed!

Here are a few more photos of our garden!

Some more photos of our garden and new plants in the community garden.

Better to call in and have a cuppa and see the new plants in  the garden. We always need more volunteers to do things in the sheds and on our community projects. You can see by the pictures how well our community garden has grown and the new plants are starting to blossom already.

Thanks to Newcastle Council for letting us use the land for our new plants and they are doing well in the new community garden.

New members are always welcome at Elermore Vale Men’s Shed! Our community garden is there for all to enjoy, it is called the Harmony Garden and we are always looking for more keen gardeners to join our shed and help out with the new plants in the garden. Do you have a green thumb, we would like to see more people from the community come along and work on the new plants in our garden.
