 Elermore Vale Mens Shed Minutes.

The November monthly meeting was held on 7th Nov starting at 7.00pm

Before the meeting started Jason Dunn our local counsellor, gave a short talk on how he will put a motion to council, asking to consider allowing us to have a shipping container for storage only, to be put opposite our roller door. Also seeking support in general for the shed to expand in the future.

The Council Meeting is at Council City Hall on King St Tuesday 13th November, starts at 5 30pm meet in the Public Gallery. If you can, wear the Sheds shirts to show support.

Jason also being a lawyer gave his opinion on the advantages of the shed becoming incorporated.

Jason will set up a meeting with Lester and Committee members to discuss the pros and cons of this issue.

The meeting thanked Jason for his attendance.

2 Questions arising.

3 Apologies from John Wattam, John Fittness and Ken Dollin

4 Treasurers Report was accepted, and is available for members to review at our shed.

5 Bill the Secretary will write to council to get free use of the tip as we are a charitable organization.

6 We want to organise a Xmas get- together on 10th December at 6 30pm at the Shaft Tavern if you are interested, put your name on the white board. Buy your own meal and the shed will pay for drinks to the value of $10 per head.

7 Crawford Real Estate have offered to sponsor new shirts to the value of $500 which is great news, members will still be asked to pay $15 towards the cost of the shirt. The shirts will be similar to the original ones.

8 It was agreed to donate unsold hand tools to an organization thats send tools plus other equipment to islands in the Pacific, Stuart Torrance will organise this it may take awhile to get and fill a container.

9 Projects. Maryland Child Care is still ongoing hopefully get things done soon.

Woodlands Retirement Village to be finished off.

Mayfield Retirement Village wants planter boxes and a seat around tree made and erected.

Erect shade cloth supports in Croudace road, also build steps in bushrock wall in Aries Way both not big jobs.
